Jason Clark is the founder and CEO of Southeastern Reptile Rescue. Finding homes for unwanted pet reptiles is just one part of his daily job. For over 30 years, he has responded to requests for snake removals for 911 dispatch centers throughout Georgia. Jason is a Master Naturalist through the University of Georgia and is also an Alligator Agent Trapper who assists law enforcement with the capture and removal of nuisance alligators. Being a prior law enforcement officer himself, he now contracts his services to state and federal law enforcement in the training of venomous snake handling and alligator capture techniques. For the last 22 years, he has been called upon by several state and federal law enforcement agencies to assist with identifying, collecting, and holding seized reptiles for evidence. For over a decade he has worked with dog owners and professional dog trainers to facilitate his program known as Snake School that teaches dogs to avoid snakes by smell and sight in an effort to save dogs from being biten. He has worked with dogs trained for search and rescue as well as law enforcement K9's and Homeland Security. He is probably best known from his public speaking events as he performs two to three hundred shows each year. He's been featured in his own series on Animal Planet and has appeared on National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Netflix, in national commercials, and in feature film. Currently, he produces a Youtube Channel called SnakesAreUsTV. |
